Service Provided

Dave Curwen Driver Training provides Professional driving lessons in Ross-on-Wye and surrounding areas.

Driving Lessons

The Instructor shall provide the Client with driving tuition at the rate per hour communicated to you from time to time. For full details of rates and current offers please see Lesson Prices Page.

If your normal Instructor is unavailable for any reason, or in the event of mechanical breakdown of the vehicle the Instructor has the right to arrange for another Instructor to provide some, or all of your driving tuition and reserves the right to rearrange driving lessons to a time convenient to both you and the Instructor.

The Instructor reserves the right to refuse the use of the car for test.


The Instructor will carry the appropriate motor insurance should you cause an accident as a learner whilst driving the Instructor’s tuition vehicle, whether you are accompanied by an Instructor or a Driving Standards Agency Examiner.


Responsibilities of  Client, Parent or Guardian

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the required licence to drive under the tuition of an Instructor. You will be asked by your Instructor to show your provisional driving licence at your first lesson.


If the Client, Parent or Guardian is unhappy with any part of the service provided it should be discussed with the instructor.



You must pay for each lesson in advance. The instructor reserves the right to collect fees for lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.

Special Offers

All Special Offers are based on 20 Hours Tuition and The instructor reserves the right to charge full lesson price for pupils who do not complete 20 hours tuition or who do not receive 2 hours of tuition per fortnight.

Special Offers are free lessons or lessons that are less than the normal lesson price.

Other Provisions

The instructor does not guarantee to provide driving lessons if prevented from doing so in circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including without limitations, the activities of civil or government authorities, third party industrial disputes, acts of God; or severe weather conditions.

The instructor reserves the rights to make reasonable changes to these terms and conditions, for commercial, legal or regulatory reasons and will give you reasonable notice of such changes. If such changes mean that the services we provide to you are substantially varied to your detriment you may cancel your agreement with us.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
